They Don't Really Want To Play...

I am deep in the trenches of my search for a Wii system. It is like those Asian men on the commercial are just mocking me. "Wii would like to play." Sure, my children would like to play as well but I can't find you little Asian men anywhere! Why don't they come knocking at my door? Why don't they tell me where and when the next shipment will be??

I just love Christmas shopping. If only they wanted a Cabbage Patch Doll...

I have been on that Wii Safari myself - none in sight - had I started looking sooner I may have found one....I figure I'll find it in February - Wii can then celebrate President's Day unlike any other year.....

Here on Hawaii, the Navy Exchange gets shipments of whatever the hottest thing is (like the Wii). Then they advertise the day they'll be put on the shelf. Then there'll be a line waiting that morning to get them. We tried to get a Wii, but they were gone within moments of the NEX opening its doors.

The PX didn't get them here at all so we kept looking at Walmart, I finally just went and asked, and the woman told me they keep them in the back so people have to ask for them.

Cris, I'm assuming you've looked online. We ordered ours online from Game Stop (www.gamestop.com) and it's already here.

We actually walked into Game Stop and asked and they had them there. Try giving them a call, or go order from them online. :-)

Like you, I've looked everywhere! I've been down the dark alleys of the internet to the deepest crevices, I've been to every retail store around, over and over, none to be found in Iowa either. We've had to embrace the idea that a Wii is not on the list this year - thankfully my kids & I have openly admitted that Santa is Mom (& Dad) for the first time this year. I can't fathom having to go full blown or die trying to procure that Wii from Santa! Don't you just feel like hunting down the little Wii guys and shaking them until they produce the Wii, all nice and gift wrapped for you? Maybe that's just me....

We decided that the wii will come for Easter this year. The kids were informed that we are not going to play this game, and they agreed. Good luck to you.
