Don't Thank Me, Thank Aunt Barb...

Loads of stuff going on here... sooo much to write about, but I just don't have time!!!! I did want to leave you with this little video that my Aunt Barb sent me. Aunt Barb is a prize winning fruit salad maker and her banana bread recipe has to be copied in gold print it is so good. She also calls my mother on every holiday to simply say "My turkey carcass is clean and the dishes are all put away! I win!" So you know this tip comes from a true "June" at heart.

Thanks Aunt Barb~

Oh wow! I'll seriously have to try that... we never have chip clips in our house!! I think they're hangin out with the socks..behind the dryer!

Thanks for the tip. Our chip clips are usually in the freezer holding the bags of frozen veggies and such closed.

For some reason I can't get this. I'm such a dork. The Man does it this way and I still can't get it. I'm going to watch this video 15 times with a bag of chips in my hand until I get it.

I am going to have to give this a shot because I am always loosing my clips.

I'm gonna have to try that. (Although I'm afraid I'll crush all the chips in the process!)

Coming out of lurkdom here.
I am amazed. It looks like a great idea. If it doesn't work I'll go back to using clothespins.

Doesn't everybody else have a chip fairy?? I just leave the bag on the counter and the next time I go by, they are in the cupboard with a chip clip on them. I think my wife hates the little bugger. When I ask how they got there, she just gives me a dirty look. I just don't get it. Poor chip fairy....

June, June, June, don't you know that if you eat the WHOLE BAG IN ONE SITTING you would never have a use for this video or chip clips...Sometimes the best solution is truly the simplest!!!

I think I'm the chip fairy Steve!

Can your Aunt Sue tell us her approved videos for "How to Fold a Fitted Sheet" and "How to Make a Bun in Your Daughter's Hair Before Gymnastics"?

Aw, shoot, I mean Aunt Barb! Sorry to withhold proper credit there for a moment!

I made sure to show this to the husband who always leaves the bag opened ... if he doesn't finish the bag first ;)

June,
Give your fans the date of your blog on folding a fitted sheet.
I don't take any credit for that ingenious blog.
But I do know how to do hospital corners when making a bed. I learned that one in Girl Scouts.
Those were the days! Even learned how to polka...in the Girl Scouts.
Love,
Aunt Barbara

Crap, I can't do it and I really really tried. Even went out and bought Lays brand. Am going back to rolling the top down (not MY top, the chip bag!) and putting a big rubber band around the whole works.

I cannot do it. I have re-watched the video several times and tried and tried. Now I'll just have to eat this whole bag of Doritos. Darn.

Okay, so whats the banana bread recipe?

Jess said...

I cannot get this to work. I may need a June Cleaver demo.
