Bravo American Idol... Bravo!

All I have to say is that American Idol did it up last night. That was an awesome show with ZZ Top, Brian Adams, Donna Summers, and One Republic. George Michael was a little off and I must admit that I did fall asleep during his performance. He looked a little like a wax figure from Madame Tussuad's... weird.

David Cook Rocks.

My 13 year old kept saying "I don't know any of these singers! They should have someone like the Jonas Brother on here." I thought she was having a brain aneurysm when the did actually perform on the show. I could not hear for 45 seconds because I think my ear drums were broken from her primal screams of joy. It reminded me of the time I saw Michael Jackson as a young teenager. Hopefully the Jonas Brothers will not meet the same fate of old MJ. I have heard that they do travel with a monkey though... Lord have mercy.

My only complaint is that I will have nothing to do on Tuesday and Wednesday nights anymore. No David Cook to Rock out to on the tele. What am I supposed to do now?

Wait... what is that I just read? Last Comic Standing starts tonight at 8:30????

There is a God.

YAY ... so glad that my pick WON!

My husband kept saying that person was NOT George Michael ... he did look off (plastic surgery, age?).

I'm actually glad not to be tied down to a show.

I only caught the last part, and boy, was I disappointed that I got to see George Michael as opposed to Seal.

I love your blog, and I love visiting, but it is hard when I can't turn your music off to click the You Tube links. Is there a place to do it that I am missing? My kids always come running over when they hear music from your blog, as it is a novelty, apparently.

I second your aunt barbara. So You Think You Can Dance is a great replacement. The auditions can be a total train wreck. definitely worth a look-see.

Oh and don't forget 'So you think you can dance' which ALSO starts tonight. Oh wait. I may be the only person on the planet that watches that religiously. *sigh*

I enjoyed ZZ Top too. I had left the room by George Michael's appearance, and my daughter wanted to know what the deal was with him. Now I wish I had seen it....

I agree with the majority...So You Think you can dance...awesome...it only makes me wish I had killer abs like most of those girls and then I start to make plans to take dance class. Ahh...you think I'd make it on the show next year if I start practicing now?

BTW we don't get stupid NBC to watch LCS! Damn sattelite!
Love you
Claire

I enjoy reading your blog. You are right David Cook does rock!! He and I went to school together so I was very excited when he won. I have never even watched a season of AI before. Thanks for posting the You Tube video, LOL!

Yeah!! I'm so excited David Cook won!! And with (or by) 12 million votes?! That's just crazy!!

I'm sorry about deleting the previous post. I have two blogs and I try to keep them separated and I used the wrong one. Haha...now I really feel like a stalker!

Love your blog! Read it all in 2 days, I swear we must be lost sisters or something! Oh and loved the deodorant OCD post, I'm the exact same way, lots of it and even numbers! Can't wait to read more in the future.

Fuzzy... just scroll down to the bottom of the screen where the music selection is and press the pause button. Presto-chango, no music and you can watch the you tube videos.

You are welcome,
June

Thank you, June! I never make it to the bottom of the page, so I never look there.

That is so funny. My 9 year old DD freaked out when the Jonas Brothers came on as well. I also made a reference to my love for MJ when I was younger!! My DH and I were wondering if GM was sick?

Claire... if you start running now will you be ready for a marathon in 3 years? I don't know-try and we'll see!

Kasia... No, I have not found a girl for cousin Keith. Do you have a girl in mind?

For the record, I can't watch So You Think You Can Dance because then I get all mad at my parents for never getting me dance lessons when I was 4. Curses!
